I've been away from daoc a little while now. But now I have some spare time and I’m thinking about activating again...

I have an rr5 sorc as a main, with decent toa template.
And my alt is an rr4 reaver with only SI template.

Is there a decent chance for me getting a grp with those chars?
If we recon my playing is good and I’m on vt etc.

My last rvr experience was emptiness. I enjoy FG fights, but not when it’s 45 minutes roaming in between.

So what is it like these days?

I would say both chars are good for NF, but your reaver needs alot of pve work before You can be "wanted" in groups. Artis and some months getting to ml8 banelord.

If your sorc is mind specced, you will be welcomed with open arms I am sure. Being RR5 gives you the basic RAs you need - purge2, moc1, dex3+ etc, plus the 'godmode' RR5 absorb ability. Reavers are great fun, I plan to make one in Catacombs. Get ML5 and RR8 and you'll be snapped up for groups.

Aye thats my opinion, but after trying it myself being in a guild of 30 people from DAOC excal/prydwen, over two thirds have quit to return to DAOC.

I always thought the base ras for sorc were moc3 purge2 , with ml9 being a 'must have' for all sorcs - can take 2-3 ppl at a time with that then take 10 mins to reflect upon your most recent fight. (aka ra recharge)
