Unsubsribing threads

When you have posted in a thread, you get an email when someone has replied in that thread, I usually unsubscribe myself in my profile page as I browse the forum anyway and don't need help to follow threads I'm interested in (clicking on the link in the email gets you to BW but not logged in so what's the point anyway

Problem is that for some odd reason, these threads resubscribe themselves even when I haven't visited them a while as soon as someone posts again Clogs up me mailbox

go to profile->edit options->Use 'Email Notification' by default?->no
that should fix it

At the bototm right click in the drop down box and change to CLOSED
