I find it quite odd that there's no section in the fps section to cover unreal games, especially with unreal tournament 2004 hitting the stores next month, and the demo's already proven a huge hit...

Ignoring the petty civil unrest that surrounds me, I would like to point out that the UT2004 demo is fantastic. Fuck HL2, I'm buying that.

well, looks like FH got all the jerks and all the decent people went elsewhere...

FH is kinda taking over from BW forums since game pulled the plug btw, which is why i made the reference to it, pretty much the whole FH community is formerly from BW... so basically, looks like half of you have proven that you merely seek to flame "newbies" to death, good luck finding new community members if this is how you're going to treat people...

I am sold on ut2k4 though, been playing it loads lately, it runs dead fast on my crap pc and it plays nice and quick like quake and quake2 which I love! yay! I really do want to hate it though becuase its unreal and not made by id...bit of a id fanboy!

You can stand in the middle of the tower and use secondary fire to fly that big fuck-off rocket into the nearest powercore.

Those people saying ut2004 is top.....did you like 2003?

I only ask because ut was my first online game and I wanted so much to like 2003 but just couldn't. So is it different to 2003, doesn't have to be that different, since the reason I disliked 2003 is because the gameplay wasn't any different and they managed to make it feel slower and more 'busy' (not talking about when you're in fights btw). The adrenaline sounded a funny, but kinda cool, addition as long as I didn't need to do it.

When I first opened up 2k4 I thought I had run the wrong game tbh I thought, hang on this is just unreal tournament! I havent played any of the others but its fast, fun and frantic which is good fun! cant wait for it to come out
