What can I say I love this game, played it all weekend with some mates on an LAN and online. It's just sooo good, weaps are ace it has radio comms for CTF (at last) and the bots are amazing. It gives better bot games of CTF than most public servers (which I know isn't too hard).
We had 3 people going through a 64K ISDN (BT 0800) connection, via Win98SE connection sharing, and it was very playable! So the network code has been well sorted!
But above all it has that feel good factor when you first play it that Q3A hasn't - I mean we'd like to like Q3A but it just doesn't feel right does it? Whereas UT had me hooked within seconds...
So is it just me that feels this way, or should ID be putting in night shifts to get Q3A back on track? I know what I'll be playing based on the test releases!
Riz.
ps. c'mon Bazzers get some UT CTF servers up, you can take those w*nk Q3A servers off if you need to!
