unknown client /awaiting cd authorization

hi to all, problem is i get both messages at random .I have diconnected my home lan and did a full reinstall of game i have the filters in g.s set to 1.15c "updated games"i play a single player game with cd in have no problems,i can not go to multiplayer with out either messagecoming up ..if i go to g.S. i get same thing i do a refresh before each sessionany help ? please e-mail if possible! Thank You

This seems to be a connection problem - if you can't connect to authorise.quake3arena.com you seem to just get that error message - nice isnt it?

It can also happen if you play a game on one ISP, change to another ISP and try and connect before your last authorization request sent to ID times out. I take it you are using an original copy of Q3?
