Uninstallation?

Dont worry - Im not quitting the game :)

I just got a new hard-drive, and so want to mvoe DAoC onto it...

From previous experience, I know just moving the folder might cause problems, so I thought that best idea would be to uninstall it, and then reinstall it. So, I have a few questions....

1) It wont delete my characters will it (I know it wont - I need to make sure!)
2) What files, if I can, do I need to move over so that I do not need to download the patches again?
3) Is there anything else that I might need to move over?

Thanks in advance.

1. No
2. Don't think you can
3. Your character sheets, storing your styles, setup, etc

They are usually called yourname-666 or something

But if you have a good connection just redownload the patch

i was only getting over 60kb/sec on the patch server

there is NO problem whatsoever in copying daoc to a new dir on a new disk, it will run just as smoothly

I've never had problems just moving the folder. I think all you lose is the uninstall proggy.

BTW, the patch is 54mb now, from the original version 1.34
