Uninstall

Hey Folks,

Uninstalling DAoC - Using the "Add/Remove Programs" panel in Windows.

Keep recieving this error: Could not open install.log file

Same when trying uninstalling Classic, SI and ToA. Anyone able to help me please?

All versions of the game come with an uninstaller, just look in the corrsponsding folder (ToA even puts a shortcut in your start menu)

I used the uninstall file in the program folder, and got the same error, it opened up a "file browser" to find "install.log". thanks though.

Normally if you click uninstall in add/remove and the program is already gone, it'll update the list accordingly.

Well now my DAOC/TOA folders only contain a few INI and DLL files - Would they normally remain if uninstalled properly? SI however seems to have the full lot. Silly DAoC -

Unintalling stuff is notorious for leaving bits behind :-/

Just manually delete them mate. If you want rid totally, you can use the link I gave to sort the addremove programs mis-reports, then use windows explorer to just delete the folders.

Thanks again Phil, I reckon i may just delete the SI part manually, no use messing around with it.
