Underdog bonus?

I would be grateful if someone could explain how this works please. I am a Hib on Excaliber and, for some reason, assumed you would be able to level much quicker with having the underdog bonus. Thank you.

at the moment the underdog bonus only affect cheaper keep bounty point cost and hook point cost, in 1.71 it will grant better XP.

They dont put the exp bonuses onto the server until patch 1.71. In 1.72 the free levels will be added as well.

Thank you for your reply. I was under the impression that moves were afoot to enable underpopulated realms to get a bonus level every time they levelled and thought this might be it.... . Questions answered, thank you.
