Hi to all albs/hibs and mids out there just a topic to throw around for disscussion not aiming to get any flames just some serious ideas about the thread.
The under-populated realm bonuses seem to (imho) be unfair, due to long update times (seems they only review the staus on a patch basis) and other factors which are not considered either.
Of late it seems that theres been alot of people leaving the game to play wow or do other stuff, and also cats has been released so alot of players have taken some time off to go back to pve. So who actually should get the realm bonuses?
(Hibs zerg, mids zerg and albs zerg maybe in differnt ways but i use the term zerg to cover groups going out to get rp's.)
To incourage more rvr'ing and to sort out the bonus how do people feel about a two-weekly update using information gathered from the satistics site giving the under-populated realm status to the race thats has gained the fewest realm points in that time?
So say hibs zerg one weekend and take a load of mid towers both mids and hibs have gained rp's due to the nature of the battles taking place, albions by not being involved have not gained so many so for two weeks they get the under-populated bonus.
In the next two weeks albs zerg (will use the state of server atm not aiming this at anyone) to get back their relic and get rp's with mids as well so the next update the hibs get the bonus.
By using the realm points gathered on a time scale such as this it leads to a more flexible way to give the bonuses, and would reduce the leveling imbalance of alts in pve that the bonuses get. (ie hibs wouls not get a free level every two days to mids/albs getting one every seven days)
Also this could incourage more relic raids so that each side would try and combat not having bonuses they have relied on with the bonuses atm, leading to more rvr action and greater battles and more rvr.
Or do you feel that the status of these bounuses at the moment are fair?
