What the fuck does this translate to? I got an email saying my account sub had failed to renew, even after they had sent me two emails telling me it would be; I figured maybe it was because I had gotten a new card recently and the number had changed.

So I try to login in with my sub name + password, and it says "invalid username or password". After two tries at this, with the right password, the same one I've always had, I try to create a new one. They email me with the new sub password about 10 seconds later, fair enough, and when I log in with that all I get is this bloody "Unable to modify your subscription. An invoice is currently in process" message. What the hell does it mean? I can't log in with the very password they have just sent me? I'm trying to pay them money, you'd think they'd at least make that part easy.

If for some reason your payment failed (change in card number, browser crash part way through, incorrect details, payment refused by bank etc) then there is a short period (a couple of hours) where the system will refuse to accept new details. This is an anti-fraud measure. Once it has cleared you can try again.

this is highly annoying..

last time i selected 3 months, continued, changed my mind to change it in 1 month, pressed the back button in the webpage to change it and i couldnt change it due invoice currently in progress..

i wasnt even been on the payment site where you select you payment method.. :puke:

only think i hate about goa :p fook you payment up somewhere and wait a hour to fix it :(

Had a similar thing when my card changed. I had to wait until after midnight (i.e. the next day) to subscribe again.

Had the same problem, sent an email to them and got an answer 1 week later that this problem was fixed atuomatically, and it was nothing they could do about it. If it did not i should send them another email :twak:

The problem was fixed the day after i fucked up tho :p

But, heard people waiting for 2 weeks to get it fixed

Just, wait 24hours-2 weeks and you will be able to pay again :wanker:

Happened to me last week, same 'invoice in process' message, but I got an immediate auto-response email from goa with a link to the subs page and I was then able to pay.

Happened here this week also (I accidently closed the payment window before I completed my CC details).

I received an email from GOA with a link to another payment page which allowed me to enter my details and register. I think it took about 30 minutes for the email to arrive.

to be honest, i think the site is crap. Billing should be easy and straightforward, without a lot of flash shit that'll only cause problems anyway.

Well it was working by the time I got home from work last night. Which is nice, would have been a 10 on the FFS-O-Meter if it hadn't been.

Well, finally got my CC today and what happens... same shit.

Only though that i had only to change the names around in my details as i had surname as my first name..and first as surname.. how long does it take.. ??5-6 hours hopefully so i can play tonight :D

Advise the bank / CC company that payment to GoA has been cancelled and is no longer valid. Will give you some protection if the worse happens.

That would explain the 24+ hours I waited last time then :)
