I dont really know what you mean by "without all the trouble " ??
However fileplanet aint much good, try a link from www.csnation.counter-strike.net , would be better i think. However you get it, it'l still be some hours on a modem. I found it such a pain in the arse i went and bought the retail version which comes with the Half Life Generations pack, for about 15 quid these days, but then I know a lot of peeps on here are monatarily challenged variety so its up to you i suppose ;)

I thought it was "Illegal" to download the Full Game? or am i mistaken?

Look at Cyph3rs post above. Click on the one that says full mod version.
When i say click, what I mean is move the cursor, thats the little arrow thing on your monitor screen, until its over the line entitled full mod version ,then press the left hand button on your mouse. You may have to press it twice !
Golly , life is complicated now isn't it ? ;)

And don't listen to Super_Gray he's just gone and confused the whole thing. Downlaoding the update for the Retail IS legal. Download the MOD version IS legal.

Because whenever I try to view ftp.barrysworld.com it says I can't, or something. :/

I thought he was talking about dowloading the FULL game, not an update

Yes, you can DL the FULL game. Obviously you still need to have Half Life installed. If youve got retail CS, then you can DL the updates.
