OK I have a LAN party organised for February 20th in Ware, just north of London. It's a bring your own, free for all style event, with approx. 40 people coming.

95% of them (me inc) are good regular people just out to have a good time.

Tho there is that 5% of people who "just want to show off". Eg I got a faster Pc than you...

I generally just ignore them and whip there asses in Tribes

hehe

As for booze, most definately. It's £1.10 a pint, but dont get carried away

. It's form a bar under the same roof, so you can order food as well.

Heya guys

Just a little update on the FRAG event, it's now only 2 weeks away but it's not too late to sign up! We have approx 40 people so far, but we can support up to 100! This is a casual event with a few tournaments but it's not looking very likely that we'll have prizes. (Due to the fact that no companies are willing to sponsor the event

)

Hiya

I also run small LANs for a group of friends. If you are after prizes try http://www.everglide.com/ who will send you a couple of their excellent mouse pads in return for a bit of publicity.

Delivery takes 2 weeks as they come from the states. If that's too late I usually post them on afterwards.
