These stuffs really makin me laugh, yesterday evening there were about 14 ppl online from AoD. So we should count a little. There was a ml7 raid yesterday, at least 5 ppl were on it from us (including me). So from the others try to make 2fg and i'll owe you a sorry ^^

What you seem to be forgetting is that a group with 6 AoD and 2 'others' is an AoD-group to us.

I believe Erodafira (now Erodar theurg?) has also went to other guild but still often plays with AoD's. I still see him as AoD while you probably dont anymore with /gc who.

And 7 AoD, a few ex-AoD and nameless random warders make 2fg AoD to most of us.

What we mean: Steveh running around with 2fg's.

Eroda was never a member of AoD, that's the problem with u guys, can't see the differnce between 2 different emblems. Only the colors are the same (AoD and GoP), but same alliance tho. And if we cannot build a group from our guild only, we have to invite from other guilds (u know we won't run around with 2 pallys or 2 minis, think u can understand that). And if the remaining ppl still wanna play, they have to build/find another group. BUT this doesn't mean that 2 fg runs together, we are only in contact via /gu, and that cannot be ignored (at least we don't want to ignore each other's death).

Puppet, afaik no ex-AoD exists and only 3 non AoD Hungarian on Pry/Alb (and we never been members of AoD).

In Defence of AoD

I am in a small guild called Imperial Fist, and my cleric has been hanging round emain for the last few weeks looking for groups. I dont know AoD from adam, I'm just a random dude lfg in emain - and Low RR to boot.

I have been asked into an AoD group twice now, and roamed emain for approx 4-5 hours with them. Not once, I repeat not once did they ever intentionally run with ANYone else(i.e. zerg)

Unlike most alb groups, who will happliy add on a fight say.. an alb group is obviously going to win ( 1 fg on 3 stealthers for example) AoD will run past and give it a miss. When encountering a Zerg fight, the area is avoided until the majority of the death spam is finished, not wishing to join the zerg. Once or twice running through mmg or amg the zerglings have been fighting it out,and battle has commenced, unavoidable.

At one point, doing /who emain and seeing like 70 albs registered, the party found safe spot and basically just sat their for 15 minutes just waiting for the numbers to dwindle/groups to get killed/leave.

AoD are polite, professional and courteous.

I agree, AoD are a fantastic guild with some very nice people, frankly if they didn't have hungarian /gu I would probably have asked to join before now... but I settle for leaching onto their groups for now whenever its possible

It's funny, the GoP/AoD zerg threads have been around for ages now as various FoTM's come and go but those 2 guilds still stand strong. I for one can remember like one and a half years ago when people complained and had it explained repeatedly that AoD/GoP have very similar embelems etc and, being in the same alliance, unsurprisingly often RvR together. The best complaints were those posted 5 minutes after a successful Benowyc defence - how dare the GoP alliance unite to defend Hadrian's its just not right!!! oO Many of the players flaunting these pointless and unjustified insults have since gone, only now they have to suffer the new wave of people, with idiots like Xxcalibur who think they are clever for posting some childish/sarcastic comments on every thread related to AoD.

Anyway, grats Uberalma, well deserved

Just to defend Steveh, all the tims I was a member of his group, he tried to run as single group and to find some 8vs8. But its hard to do that in Emain.

(It seems to me that some players here cannot loose a battle, either they win or the others are cheating, zerging etc. Or ist it just enviousness?)

Atm rvr seems to be focused only to one zone, but its a nice task for all realms to change it, isn't it? Just do not forget, we are playing together, even if we fight each other.
