Uber Berserker

Hi all,

Sunday i encountered a berserker named garron, i was in a group of 3 and he was solo and completly owned us, without using his IP.

My group was a level 50 paladin and a level 50 sorc and than me a level 50 armsman. THe berserker was Garron (level 50 rr4). He first took down the sorc than the paladin and than me. What happened was that it looked like he was down on health (only one swing would finish him off), when he started to finish me off, I was still full health, but i couldnt even make one swing at him from this point. I didnt really noticed if i truely hit him when he finished of the paladin. But when he started hitting me i was getting desperate that my sword didn't swing to give him the final blow. It's not that he was not out of sight or anything, i was standing in front of the guy. And all i saw was your are hit by garron for x damage, and that message over and over...


Why didn't my sword swing??? a bug or exploit???

Me and my group were really puzzled about this event, something like this shouldn't happen....

Anyone else encountered something strange like this??

think twas not a bug exploit, is just a zerk and zerk are great damage dealer.

And if he had be buffed by shaman buff bot think u could do nothing. Either if this zerk use fast weapon he could hit u a lot before ur firts polarm swing.

i should at least have swinged once no matter what, i heard he is usually fully buffed but a full bar of hp and not even swinging once is insane in my opinion....

you probably either miss clicked or had wrong stuff equipted.
I dont think it's either a bug or a cheat.

i agree it was prob no bug or cheat

but i had him targetted and didnt click any buttons anymore since i was out of end. i saw i had my sword in my hands instead of a bag of coins or a piece of dry pork meat (i might be a noob but not totally ) Just think it was a weird event (maybe time to nerf some more classes )

I did some dueling with zerkers and they evade and parry just as much a kobold blade with dodger 3 dex 212 qui 190 evades, so expect missing almost everything when out of end, i missed 7 hits in a row on a zerker even with styles. They tuff as hell when they get in close combat, Iam happy i dont face them when they buffed. And dont forget zerkers can crit upto 100 %

Blame the new /colornames.

Ive made a mistake loads in Thid, where i target the wrong person so the HP status bar says "Dwarf" or "Norseman" but it turns out to be a different player and not the one attacking me. Because there yellow con, thier name is highlighted in yellow and I stupidly think I must have them targeted.

Doubt this is what happened then, but it happens to me now and then, more often when im half asleep

Were you standing on a slope?

Sometimes if you use /stick on someone below you, you don't get close enough to attack them. Although you will be given the message "Target is too far away to attack".

Ive duelled loads of berserkers with my thane. The only real hard ones are the 44/44/44 ones, because of massive parrying and evading.
If they berserk you slam, if they dont berserker, you slam them on 50% hit points, use 2 backstyles and get a dead berserker.
I usually die the times when they evade/parry my first 3-4 slams, then theres not much left over for backstyles

Berserkers only fighters i fear in rvr although i can beat them they fucking hit hard,600 off kalgarn one hand with 25% slash is nasty

Zerker + Rat Mode = Tough as nails

MoParry 3 = Lifesaver

Chain + Thrust Polearm = Tougher

But heck... they give anyone a run for they're money in a 1 on 1

My zerk ran into a warden in thid, didt get hit, 3 hit the warden. Then into a highlander armsman with pole, same didt get hit, 4 hit him. Casters are even more fun 1 hit or 2 hit if they got pbt or bt. Think this is the next char i lvl up when my warrior is parked in malmö.

zerkers are weak against slash right?

i'm just wondering about a respec, but don't really know if i should go thrust pole or slash pole, or being a hybrid with slam or full pole?

any suggestions welcome, (wanna slice and dice that zerker on the next encounter )

zerkers wear studded dont they ? weak against crush

even with my slash resist capped at 27% they hit me for 500+ hamsterfied

weak against Slash
Resistant to thrust
Neutral to crush
