Hot on my own tracks (because I want changes! ) I found the control panel addon for UBB to add/delete etc smilies.

Or you could get the old fashioned type like me that would prefer to see UBB die a horrible death so we could all go back to using those lovely old NNTP things (ya know, Usenet).

Of course this would be totally incompatible with gaining revenue from banner ads which is why we all do it this way now .

usenet is good, provided you have a decent client you know well, a decent isp (that provides a large well kept nntp database fing, that doesn't drop half the posts) and of course, moderation.

in all the groups I used to hang out in, there was riot and chaos, the only way to deal with this was to put them on ignore, whereas here we have moderators, which the usenet groups I visited didn't (coz they weren't moderated innit)

pfft, I went along expecting that to be a wonderful display of a hacked ubb, turns out its almost identical (if not completely) to the standard ubb format (which this thing is)

Yer UBBs suck, you have to wait for them to load slowly, u have to rumage for bookmarks and you have to register with each one seperately. Usenet was so much more simple .
