...settings in the PS2 when u first boot up with out a cd in there. There's options to change disc speed and texture mapping etc... has anyone changed any of these functions? make much difference?

yes, they are used to increase the speed and graphics quality of PS1 games. They make the games look a fair amount better. But i havent noticed radical changes in how fast loading times are affected.

Ive noticed quite a difference in Final Fantasy 7.

I've played up to the second disk with is turned on then one day i forgot and wondered why the loading was cripplingly slow.

Then I felt sorry for anyone who played it on the original PSX :)

Slightly off subject, when you play a CD, isnt that box thingy meant to change shape witht he beat?! :mad:



Or is mine just limp.... :(
