I'm trying to get my BB to be able to /stick while running two accounts on one computer. Yes, I know it's not supported by Mythic but...

I have heard that it is possible by writing a script in windows to alter the priority settings. I have tried in vain to play around with the setting but have limited success.

No buying a second computer isn't a viable option at the moment.

Any techno-wizzies can help me out?

Yus that helps, but remember to switch it back to normal when you only run one account, else you will meet FPS lag :<

I got a HT cpu and running two accounts is fine, although you still want memory as a higher priority, in terms of capacity, atleast 1GB for running 2 accounts. HT cpus do run hot though, mine runs around 50-55c after tweaking (used to run 65-70c) when running two accounts. There are various steppings of HT cpus, some run faster but hotter, some run cooler but slower but can over-clock better, some just get the job done. Having a HT cpu is handy also for video editing, so say you want to record a DAoC movie with fraps, then using a HT cpu is better, as its more quality/performance driven, whereas your AMD machines are more performance driven.

ok how i run 2 accounts on one machine i got 700 meg and a sempron 2600 running at 1.4 mhz :)

switch to windowed mode turn off all special effects such as water and atlantis trees / terrain turn off catacombs models as well

load up first account switch to client sleep then press ctrl alt + del to bring up the task manager set the game.dll priorty to low now load up second account as it goes to the red screen go into task manager and set its priorty to low.

Once both accounts are loaded they should be on /clientsleep background and stick should work. Btw i work in high rez so shouldnt be hard to have both windows overlapping you should now be able to switch between bb and main account very quickly without much trouble at all.

Thanks for all the info. I was able to get the two toons to stick =)
As posted above i did the following:

start menu
control panel
system
advanced
<performance> settings
advanced
<processer scheduling> Click on the background services button
apply

I also set the priority to low on both instances.

Thanks again for the help.
