Trying to make a bd template and...

Well my problem is that i was told having +11 dark is not needed at all. that the damage diff from +2 dark is not notiacable. im just wondering if this is true ? :p

yes only self debuff classes apprently feel the dmg increase not sure about BD though

Hmm, I've always been told it's about 0.5% of damage per point of skill.

Personally if I was making a BD tempalte I would worry about getting 350 odd hits, good con and lots of af first.

If I played BD I wouldn't worry about a template at all :D

Well anyone who knows for 100% ? maybe a BD ? ^^
cause i really want to know before i get SC done :/ and yes the template has high hits and stuff. thats the reason for low skill +

i going +11 dark. when your below 50 composit spec with your baseline nuke, as said its like 0.5% dmg per nuke, so 5.5% dmg is far worth it.

Hrmmm two things getting confused here? afaik for each point of skill over 51 composite = 0.5% damage. Under 51 tho, composite spec works differently, as increasing it reduces varience. How I understand it anyhow.

Like has been said tho, would think with BD prolly more important maxing survivability rather than small tweaks in damage.

cant really remember it tbh, ill slap Illt and ask him :p
But guess your right, maybe i should remove the 11 darkness in mine and get some cold/energy ressist.

its a bit complex..

Any point under 51 help decrease variance (down to 0% at 51), this is true for Speced skill+Item skill+RR skill.

ALSO

any point of skill on [Items only] increase damage by about 0.5%, this however doesnt seem to apply for skill from RR.

so someone with:

50+11items+10 RR

and one with

50+11 items+2 RR will hit for the same.

but 40+11items is greater than 50+10 RR..

...............


Also this seems to hold true for melee damage aswell (a bit harder to measure). that skill added from items has a Hidden damage bonus.
