Moo!
I always search for a nice place to upload new demos, new jumps, etc.
But.. Is there any active site out there??
I always try to get new jumps, sometimes i really get some, but dont know, where to put them/discuss them

btw: my newest one..with my 1st recam-skills :]

I think a lot of people (or just some) are interested in new jumps

and on xsrealtiy they wont add them (q2 to old ?:p)
i uploaded there my demos 3 month ago

Yeah supprisingly this game called quake3 arena came out and apparently that killed quake2, still rather be dragged naked accross broken glass then play q3 again.

ID should have kept the Q2 theme and just improved the engine - I still prefer fragging monsters that jump out at you and looking for secret passage ways than a simulated multi-player game against crappy AI bots. The sounds in Q2, give a much better feel to the game. The weapons are more punchy (eg RG). And as for the ammo packs!! When I saw them in the demo, I thought they were just thrown in for beta, not actually to be used in the final release!

I'm still looking to get hold of the other mission packs for Q2. To me it's still the best game ever.

Q3 sucks. Q2 will last forever under different mods.

They are making Q4 what i belive will be what the q2 community was crying out for, its based on a quake2 theme with *i belive* q2 worlds and weapons and based on the doom3 engine.
Hold on to yer pants boys and girls coz this could just be the game we have all being waiting for.
RA4 omfg have i died and gone to heaven?

I wasnt too optimistic about Doom 3 but when news of q4 coming out and being based on Q2 appeared I cant wait for Quake 4 to be released.

However with q3 running at about 0.1fps on my machine I think I had better upgrade my PC before it comes out, otherwise I'll be sticking to q2 for another decade ;)

Sounds Ideal. Lets hope is just an enhanced version of Q2, with bigger and better worlds.

We can only dream:)

Next week there will be a new webby with a ton of demos linked new and old :cool:

Its nice to see someone who's still finding new tricks and obviously gives a fuck about q2....:D

Shame theres not more with the same enthusiasm....

Fact is people think they know everything already therefore never try anything to better themselves...

Me personally,if i see something new i go for it and try to learn it which is why q2 has never lost its appeal to me....theres always someone doing something different which is great:)

Needless to say i'll try to learn the stuff you took the time to demo...i think that if anyones got something to help the q2 community that actually likes/plays q2 such as new tricks or anything then they should share it!

i'm a forum newbie and will probaly get some knob flaming me about my spelling or something but i wanted to say Nice one to meltdown for being curious enough to see what really CAN be done with a little effort..
