Don't get me wrong all, I mean i love the game(the two mins i get to play it before it crashes, seriously) but this is the worst code i have ever seen! I install the game and everything goes fine. Then i go for the updates. The first is good for the download, and then when i try to run the setup i get a damn error, and the program has to be shutdown. Then after i finally get that one to work, so i download the second and it says something like "file to old or not found" or something like that. So i usally have to reinstal, and by some power of god the patch works fine ever 10 installs. Then i get into the game and im playing for 2 mins, and i get the c0000005 error. Yes! Thats @#^%&*# great! Ive looked all over the web for ansewers. Ive changed my bios, drivers, options in the game, codecs, and the lovley game doesnt work! I've finally given up now. If i ever get it to work, i will see you all out in there playing. Thanks for litsening to be bitch! Bye all!

If DaveG ever came to this forum he woud be going on about the different amount of setups that every PC can have. About 700,000. Then after that there are drivers, bios flashes, dual processors etc. I think it is true. The only platforms that run very stable games are consoles. But consoles suck dick (kiddies computers). It is a very buggy game and it won't work on everyones computers, but that is just a reflection on PC gameing.

im sorry, i cannot let them use that as an exuse. for the game to be buggy at this degree. and then say, "well, basically, it isnt our fault, its the 'huge' amount of different pc veriations'.... fuck you then, you shouldnt sell it if it aint gonna work. most other games have minimal probs on ppls systems, bar the usual phantom uber pc that uses Human dna in its god damn processor. as you can tell im pissed off, cos i spent good cash, on an unfinished, but working game, and i was having fun... now they update the game, and shit it up.

Apparently there is a compatability problem with sound blaster cards now, if thats true then id like to know what system specs the QA department use? Probably a P75 judging by the amount of additional fog in the game.

Btw battle is right, this game is suffering more than most, i can't remember a game worse than this for the problems half the dev team are now suffering Maybe they shouldn't have layed the poor chaps off, it's not as if they didn't know they were releasing an unfinsished game

Oh no, I’m not saying this game is ok and all other games should be able to be released in this state. Hopefully the industry will look at this game and realize that it hurts sales when games come out like this. (even though it has been a success - 15,000 accounts on first day or something like that which DaveG called phenomenal - I don't think it was what most people have hoped for). Everyday i see some news page and anything associated with a buggy release or a new patch that is buggy has things like (Tribes2 anyone) etc. I think this game is going to be remembered as the worlds most bugged game.

I personally love the game, loved Tribes1, like Tribes2 more but the bugs stop it from becoming the next Half-life.

Hmmm your specs obviously point out that bigger definately aint better.

Its gotta be a driver issue.

Usually graphics cards - Try the 12.6 detenotor drivers from www.the-ctrl-alt-del.com as I find they give most stability and performance with mine.

As for the game in general - I dont give a shit how much it crashes and gets patched - its the best game I have ever played. Tribes 1 used to hold that accolade but since I got 2 I havent gone back. I vowed to play T1 for eternity and swore that it would never leave my PC.

Well it got uninstalled a couple of months back and I aint even slightly missed it.

Sure the odd crash really pisses me off and the fact that each patch fixes some things and breaks others does suck.

But its gonna take more than that for me to give this beauty of a game up.

Have to agree with Mantis...I loved T1 and thought that i would hate T2, but i have not played T1 at all since getting T2 (on release date) and this with all the problems as well (there have been a few). I have to re-install after every patch to get the game to run and after much swearing it works and i am happy. I agree with everyone that there are far too many problems but it is still a great game. Can't wait for the leagues to start
