The Tribes 2 European Summer Mixed Championships
What is it?
A mini tournament to be run over seven weeks this summer. Three regional groups of eight teams will play each other in a round-robin competition with the group winners plus one "wildcard" team making it into the semi finals. Matches will be 8vs8 on some of T2's most face past, action filled maps including the new Europack 2. All games will be played on Wednesday evenings leaving plenty of other time for scrims and practices with your "real" ladder clan.
Why is it so special?
Well for starters you wont be playing in your normal clan. Each group will have eight captains (one for each team, duh) who will pick from a player pool to form their teams. This gives you the chance to meet new people, learn new tactics and for the freelancers amougst you it may even lead to finding the Ladder clan of your dreams
Group matches will also be played within your local region, that means nice pings for everybody!! The quality of games should be great too, by picking mixed teams the level of play should be fairly even between most teams and hopefully we'll see some very close and exciting matches.
