I've played alb, hib and mid and never have I been in a duo nor a trio with any stealther class (I've never grouped with them in other words). Died 9 times with Infil up to cap, 7 times with scout, 17 times with Shadowblade, 12 times with Hunter and 16 times with Nightshade.
(I haven't tried ranger yet)

No need to group to survive imo.
