Oh god I'm so sorry, I thought I had let you know Bymz0r.
His name is Daniel David(my dad) Arthur(my greatest ever uncle).
He is an absolute belter.....................when hes asleep. We use him to fend off ships in the night that may stray onto our cliff when he's awake. He screams like the almighty Jebus would do if he screamed.
Its only been 2 weeks since he entered our lives yet it seems like hes always been around. Samm has had mastitus(sp) and she can't breast feed anymore, one boob was clogged up and the other was squirting blood, which of course freaked me out.
I started a new job last Monday as well as running 2 video shops that I own. To say that I am tired is an understatement.
His next 27 christmases are sorted for him for presents, and obviously this year he will be getting Scalextric(and next year).
This is the most I have typed in a week, even my fingers are tired. When we have visitors or when the midwife visits he doesn't make a sound, all my family think hes an absolute angel who never makes a noise, so already he's taking the piss out of us, of course as soon as they leave he screams the house down.
We are in the process of making an official complaint about 1 of the midwifes who was present at the birth, the one who panicked and totally freaked me out(like it isn't bad enough). Apparently alot of other parents have complained about her so at least it isn't just us.
Thats about it really, he sleeps, he feeds, he screams but oh my god I love him.

Aww, I'm glad little Daniel is doing well!
A good set of lungs is a sign of good health they say lol, he won't be like that too much longer. He'll be smiling away at you before you know it
Sorry Samm can't breastfeed any more, I never got mastitis or anything (yet), but I have heard how nasty it can be, good of her to give it a go though, I know exactly what day/night feeding every 1-2 hours feels like.
Hope she's sleeping when he sleeps, that sleep deprivation thing can send you nuts.
The sleep thing does get better, took 10 weeks for Nicholas to sleep through, even though it felt like a lifetime! Now he wakes me up again at night, but only for comfort.
Xavier slept on the floor at the foot of the bed for a few weeks, just so I could have Nicholas in bed with me to get some sleep, he just wouldn't sleep alone! I still take him into bed because he's much cuter than Xavier
I think there are a few midwives around who like to panic you - why don't they just keep their mouths shut, giving birth (and watching your partner go through that) is scary enough without them mouthing off. Good on you to complain.
I hope you enjoy every moment of him, they grow so fast don't they. I wish sometimes our son was 2 weeks old again (besides the awful sleep deprivation). Nicholas is 23 weeks (5.5 months) now and we can't believe it. He started sitting alone a few weeks ago, and is already standing against furniture. He drives us mad but his giggles make up for it, we are both in love with him. I don't think you can love anyone in the way you love your own child, can you?
Let us know what he gets up to - and don't worry, you WILL sleep again

I nearly had a heart attack when we met (my initial thoughts were: "Arrgh! Samm took Daniel the office yesterday(where she works, solicitors). All the girls there said hes gorgeous, even the men said it. He looks like me apparently.
So this friday I am going to wear a bonnet and sit outside the offices sucking a dummy. Gonna get me a solicitor.
