Travelling in other realms?

Just reading some posts... and came to a few where some peeps talk about travelling into other realms soloing.... Thats pretty nifty, I didnt know it was possible. Wont the guards interfere? and are you attackable in other realms?

It was possible with the earlier version of DAoC when you had high stealth, to sneak past the fronteir guards...

But since 1.45 (or smmt), the guards at the fronteir gates have gotten Super Man Uber Vision... They see and hear everything, which basicly makes it very hard to get past them... (Or so I've been told)

Now the only thing one might ask is, can a group of 100(or more) level 50's keep the guards busy long enough for a small select group to get passed into the realm of choice...

(Btw, the levels from the fronteir gate guards are lvl 100+)

Yeah I have been thinking about it for a long time, is it possible?

Any report on the subject..?

Lets gather 200+ albs and rush into midgard!

This is on the Tristan server in America, recent USA Patch. Its still possible
I wonder what would happen if they did this on the Euro servers, it would take 3 months for GOA to react, if they would react at all

I have no idea how to do it but it sure sounds like fun (Without the griefing)

hmm just read the link ...but how can u sneak past all the guard, dont they have the "super see hidden thing" ?

Dunno how they pulled it off... But if you want to give that 200+ albs a try... I'm always up for that

A funny thing happened to my friend when we were playing in the us servers; the patch was around 1.48. He was riding a horse within Hibernia and was one shot killed by an invader

He filed a bug report with screenshots but did not get a reply on how that was possible

i think they patched the geometry bug for hibbie... but about middie then there's a "hole" in the yggdra wall that borders onto teh home region. still looking for it too i just want a holiday screenie of a black robed eldritch wandering around galpen dancing with all the lvl 1's
