So i ordered a trip to mid-america, kind of a stepping stone between south and US to visit a lot of places. I was supposed to land in nicaragua, but the tickets say costa rica.

Hate these people at times.

Since you can't even get it right posting here, I'm thinking the title of the thread should probably be changed from "Travel Agencies suck" to "you suck".

FYI bus from Managua to San Jose takes about 8 hours, dirt cheap, (less than US$20) even the "Executivo" bus (you really don't want to get the cheaper buses).

It's akin to "HP sucks", as relevant.

The joke was about a moved border, thus landing me in wrong country. Fine as is, just in par weith the HP "joke".

The news isn't obscure either, just maybe not prime bbc(*cough* uk *cough*) story.

But the whole sour grapes outcry says more then falling for the thing anyway

This is my take on what's happened;
Tohtori has cleverly found a news story which allowed him to post a thread akin to the original thread by Shagrat.
No one realised it was a joke (I say joke, more proving a point people refused to believe in that Tohtori never saw the original bomb message even though it was world *cough* uk *cough* news, then when he posts the news story, everyone just says its a shit joke.

Sorry Gumbo, but the fact is this news story had media coverage, albeit not alot in UK (if any?). However it's still world news, but just not UK world news. People slated him for not knowing what was going on.

I won't say any more as I don't think it's needed after re-reading the original thread and Tohtori's.

It wasn't? Really? I know it was huge news in the UK and the US, and the rest of the English speaking world, NZ, Aus etc. It was front page of Le Monde and Der Spiegel, Aftenposten in Norway, and that's the ones I know about. Obviously it was also pretty massive news in the Gulf states. I'm not sure of the coverage of it in South America or Antarctica though, so I could be wrong.
