Usually have some Foo Fighters/Green Day/Nightwish on there if that gives a good starting point...

Well.. basically it´s sonwriting/folk stuff, two guys, both (mostly) playing guitarr. Pretty old skool River so deep mountain so high music... BUT!
they´ve got he most amazing lyrics I´ve heard in a long time!
Talahassee is a concept album about a broken relationship, the hate-love between the two people and everything that comes with it.
It´s a strage combination.

Red Hot Chilli's ftw

Seen them in Dortmund last weekend. My ears are stil beeeeeeeeeping.
Good show, they sure know how to play. However, a little uninspired. I´ve got a concert on DVD and they played EXACLY the same tracklist (with intros etc.) except for the new songs. That was a little dissapointing.

I like to get a bit introspective on long journeys, and/or get back to the sort of music I used to listen to aeons ago, so stuff like Tracy Chapman, Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor mixed in with the Beatles White Album, a bit of Pink Floyd and maybe Metallica S&M.

Steve Vai- Bad Horsie got a rhythm like that of a train though its an instrumental.

Album wise depends what your into, but "wish you were here" keeps me relaxed during long journeys.
