Anyone know if this is possible?

My wife's S3 got nicked last night. We've never registered it for Samsung's FindMyMobile.

On her google account though I found this link:

https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager

Which knows which devices she's used and it attempted to locate it. No joy. Presumably it's off.

Anyone know if there's a longer-term method top track purely from the IMEI number? Presumably they'll wipe the phone so that only that remains.

Took her car as well. Cunts.

Ta muchly.

/edit: IMEI I should have said...

I swapped the account off her SIM first thing to a spare SIM I had lying around so I don't think they can do that now.

tell the provider it was stolen and they'll blacklist it in the UK.

Provider being who? I bought it off ebay.
Register it with the website Wijface it'll block it with all the providers so whoever nabbed it can't use it. You're not gonna get it back after the event.
