Ahh you've found the joys of the cycler then (not the dual btw, thats a max). I actually gave up sniping because at 4x zoom I can kill nearly as well as a sniper and it costs me no cert points, roll on enhanced zoom for my 3rd implant!!

On a side note our pistol is just as good, I sniped a Vanu stood on top of a tower (only in agile exo) from a good distance away and it only took a few bursts.

I was thinking that last night too. Got whooped several times in close combat cos I just couldn't hit the cycler guys doing the psycho strafe dance with my lasher.

TR has had enough nerfs but Pulsar could use some real lovin :/

Medium assault is 2 cert points, I know this as I'm stuck using the 'uber' suppressor as my main gun atm when not stealthed

I discovered this when I was an infiltrator on TR, I carried both pistols, used standard for long ditance firing and AMP for close up. Since I moved to NC I discovered TR infs have a HUGE advantage if they want to do this as the TR standard pistol uses the same ammo as the AMP whereas the NC & VS use different ammo, thus meaning any inf who wanted to carry both pistol would only be able to have 1 clip of ammo for each (this assuming yo carry a REK)

What I meant was it doesn't cost 3 extra points for the sniping cert. And that's a good point about the pistols actually, although my close up weapon of choice is the scatterpistol when I can get one.

well, number one close combat is irellivent to me i prefer medium combat (but if u can kill a guy way before he gets into jackhammer range surely thats a good thing. (yes i know 33% of fighting is done indoors but thats all crappy boring stuff... and your MAX pounder makes up for jackhammers if used properly)

make icecream, im sure it could if u stired hard enough.

im sure if u aimed well enough u could shoot a rocket.

sure u could kill a MAX about 120 AP bullets would do it
