Jan Ulrich and Jaksche have been suspended from the tour because of doping, and they're very close to kick out Baso aswell - Oh the horror ;)

Makes the tour wide open now, Sevilla is meant to have been suspended too. Could be a very interesting tour.
Two brits in it this year, although Millar is a) a cheat and b) probably out of fitness.

I just hope Duffers is commentating on Eurosport, I love finding out what restaurant he had dinner at :)

Was on my way here to start an RIP TdF thread.

I always watch, and have done since Indurain was winning(I think Ch4 had it first), and particularly love the mountain stages. I've enjoyed watching Lance over the last 7 years, but was really looking forward to seeing the fight between Ullrich and Basso this year.

I do not feel sorry for them, if the allegations are true, but am truly disappointed that this news, along with the number of other top riders who will be missing, has ruined the spectacle of this years race.

You were saying?

Incredible stage today, and his American ness notwithstanding, an unbelievable ride from Landis. If he wins he'll have earned it.

Indeed, should be an amazing tour, unfortunately i'm off on holiday tomorrow, so i'll miss the end of the next 3 stages :(

At least if landis wins it he's won it with a fantastic ride rather than with some good time trial performances.
