Touch of Amadan Dubh quest help please

Hi,

a friend of mine is trying to do a quest for a named char called Amadan Dubh, might not be called that but warcry says its a bard who looks stealthed and spawns at 4:30 am by ligen at 60k, 10k.

Granted we only tried 1 night but dont know if we have to kill things to get him/her/it to spawn or if we in wrong place.

Any NS or other class who can done this quest or anyone that knows please help

Quite sure that quest is in 1.48. I know for a fact that the Amadan doesn't spawn in 1.45. Basically you're looking for a Dullahan looking mob with 'bard glowing notes' flowing around it.

Quest is bugged and Amadan Dubh doesnt spawn but it can be finished. Get up to the step where you have to kill Dubh for his blood and then go back to Connla and get quest for a second time. You will now have 2 entries for it in journal. Do steps 1, 2 and 3 again (ones up near Basar) and it will move both journal entries on 3 places and you can go back to Connla , claim reward and both entries will be deleted from journal.

This quest is so buggy that I could get it at level 1

1) you need to ask for help at the harper in connla
2) NPC you need to see is in basar, not ardee
3) If you get the dew sheerie to get the seaweed from you get another kill task for the seaweed automatically
4) Amadan dubh doesn't spawn
5) You can do it over and over again
