Tornado Chasing

Would you travel to Tornado Alley in the US and chase tornados?

For me its one of my goals in life. A big definite yes for me. Anyone else ?

I normally aswell but I must admit that watching the 24'th rerun of certain episodes on Discovery Channel gets a bit boring

Well ofcourse some re-enforcing would be needed to atleast keep the pack in place until it's needed

I didn't say i'd jump in it nakid, some gear is advisable, but still.

The way i thought about tornado jumping is that you'll need the following for a "safe" jump:

A parachute that won't get torn off, only needed if you fall from a height after you get flung out or the tornado passes.

A field of grass or another low debree area to avoid, as lamp said, getting your scrotum sliced off by a license plate.

F-16 fighter pilot helmet, those things should have able protection against the wind and such with a preferable oxygen tank for unspoiled air.
