So, what do we reckon? There has to be quite a few both swedes and finns around here...

Me being a swede I of course I would like to say sweden will win, but honestly think it's gonna be a REALLY close game.
Both teams have done really well in 5v4 situations though, so my guess is the team that gets the most penalties against them will loose. Sweden with our Forsberg/Sundin chain, and Finland with their Koivu/Selännen, you just can't allow them to get into to many powerplays, they are just so good on the offence!

So, in my very UNproffesional oppinion, Sweden - Finland, 3-1 Sundin, Alfredsson, Axelsson scores for sweden!!

So let the flaming begin!! FINLAND S-CKS!!!

Fins all the way, Niitymaki is on fire in the Fins goal and if he continues to play like that in the final, I can see another shutout coming Finlands way.

Czech/Russia bronze game should be a class 1 to. Both fancied for gold/silver and 1 going home with nothing. Should make for an intresting game, But with russia's problems putting the puck in the net atm, I can see the Czech's winning.

i hope sweden win ofc, but finland has played really good hockey through the tournament and regardless of who wins it will be a hell of game. sweden-finland games are always "special" and now its an olympic final. its gonna rox

The game is going to be insane!
Finland rocked last night against Russia. Damn, our crowd here was going nuts.

I think the game is going to be damn tough, and DAMN interesting! Considering our best wins have been the latest World Cup silver, and the World Championship Gold won against Sweden in 1995. Finland went completely insane after we beat Sweden in '95

Tomorrow's game will be legendary to say the least.

Niitymäki is playing an incredibly tournament, and I am not disappointed in not having Kiprusoff anymore. Selänne and Koivu are on fire to say the least. Our defense has been able to cut off attacks very, very well. All in all we are doing great. The largest difference has been that Finland does not ease off when leading anymore, that was our biggest downfall. Someone might remember Finland's 5-1 lead against Sweden and in the end we lost... outrageous...

Anyway, tomorrow I am definately going to the bars at noon already so me and my friends can get good spots in front of the big screen. I bet many others will do the same regardless of the fact that the game is on at day-time on a sunday.

It's going to be a game full of feelings... there will be a lot of powerplays and boxplays and whoever handles those the best will win, i think. Overall, Finland looks just a little bit more solid in my eyes at the moment, which of course hurts since i am Swedish.

Then again, i've we're going to lose the gold to someone, i'd rather it's Finland than anyone else.

These stats mean nothing really in any game but seen almost every game that came from tv Finnish channels including eurosport and if Finland plays even close to how they played this far I cant see them losing. The referees done great job taking out the blocking of puckless players and hooking and I think that been one of the reasons why Finland done so great. If Canada and USA especially would have been allowed to play their general playstyle they would have been much better. Finland totally destroyed teams with big defence players and seeing and knowing swedish defence I hope this will be the way to win them tomorrow although swedish defence not as big as Canada had... Im really expecting one of the best games I ever seen tomorrow.
