Friend is indeed a very good film.

If you want more Korean films then I would recommend:


  • My Sassy Girl - 10/10 <------- a MUST
    Il Mare - 10/10 <------ Also a MUST
    Failan - 9/10
    Musa - 7/10
    Joint Security Area (JSA) - 7/10

Some that I bought on DVD but not yet seen:

  • Take Care of My Cat
    Christmas in August
    My Beautiful Girl, Mari
    White Valentine

Shir was a touch overrated IMHO. Yes, it kick started the whole Korean movie fad but still not one of my faves.
