1) Startrek: tbh without this show we wouldnt have sci fi as we know it, it was truely ground breaking and deserves to be at the top. james t kirk, going where no man has gone before and kicking arse!

2) Farscape: such a great show brilliant char's and intergallactic swearing, dark humour and some truely tear jerking and terrifying moments a show not afraid to push the envelope!

3) Startrek Next Gen: i grew up with this series and it's probably my favourite of the startrek family, it was so optomistic and hopeful and i really really wish the future would turn out like that with people shunning monetary gain in favour of discovery and education but well.... also the borg omfg how scarey???

4) Dr Who: scared me as a kid and now its back and some episodes are still scarey, great stuff and brittish too! am looking forward to the new spin off show torchwood.

5) xmen: ye ye its a cartoon but its great and i love it, mutants are cool and all the time/interdimentional/space travel stuff was excellant.

1. Babylon 5
2. Firefly
3. Stargate SG-1
4. Crusade
5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I just like series that develop, and have ongoing plots, rather than being single episodes ending with hitting a reset switch 90% of the time.

A real shame that two of those series got canned just as they really started to look very interesting.

In no particular order, except for the order i write them in:

Stargate Atlantis - Better then stargate
Crusader - better then B5
Farscape - Nice show, fun characters.
Firefly - Yiihaa! Need say more?
LEX - Yeah i'm probably the only one who actually liked it...lil sister of farscape.

Yeah i guesxs i like exploration better then sitting still...

No cartoons since their cartoons(like i wouldn't put transformers on sky tv there?!), and i find buffy and angel to be more of the fantasy then sci-fi. but..anyhoo...

1. Stargate: SG1 - O'Neil is a god
2. Startrek Voyager - 7 of 9 is a goddess (also best quote ever from a sci fi series: "Snacks are irrelevent"
3. Stargate Atlantis - I just like Stargate. Almost put this one in nr2 of my list!
4. Startrek: The Next Generation - Mostly for Data tbh (and mostly for his roles in the movies)
5. Startrek Deep Space Nine. - Untill it got so freaky/surreal (lol saying a sci-fi series is surrearl) in the last season(s).

1) Babylon 5 (Still the finest Sci-fi show ever made by a country mile)

2) Battlerstar Galactica (The new series is awesome, far better than I could have hoped for)

3) Stargate SG1 (Just keeps getting better with age, my only gripe is no more Jack O'neill)

4) Star Trek : TNG (Too many episodes were time travel or dimensional travel, or invisible aliens but when the show was good it was fucking good)

5) Doctor Who 2005 (Christopher Eccleston is the finest Doctor ever, he converted me into a Doctor Who fan)

The only reason I didn't put Firefly in was because it never even finished a whole season sadly, if it had I would had to have put it at number 2.

Don't forget Data flipping out! That seemed to happen once every 10 episodes or so ;)
