I'm really looking forward to the M6, a 5 litre 500 bhp V10 through a 7 speed SMG gearbox (quicker shift than Ferrari's); can't be a bad car. However, given the choice, i'd take the V8 Vantage (being an Aston) even though i'm a bit of BMW M series fanboi in this current climate .

Porsche is far to common, Aston well as sexy as it sounded, its a bit too large at the nose for my liking.

Plus with what clarkson said about beemers, people who know about cars will give you a knowing nod when they see that car.

Yes exactly, the Porsche just looks like every other Porsche and nothing to differentiate it from older ones / different ones.

Badge snobbery would mean i'd take the Aston, but the M6 is a technological masterpiece that you can't deny (even though it does look very complex).

Anyone who knows their motors will appreciate that V10, the SMG 7 speed and the fantastic build quality.

I just don't like beemers, I see them more of a buisness mans car while an Aston I feel is the sort of a car you would feel more comfortable with when turning up to something like the Henley Regatta or a Polo match, but its down to individual tastes and perceptions of course. and how much of a showy git you are aswell
