Today's I-salute-you-list !!

This is supposed to be a directly opposite version of the A-hole list thread. So if you wish to salute or pay your respects to some other players you could do it here.

But I'm primarily making this to /salute Madeleine. Why? Because I have been lvling my alt Hvutt in Cru Gorge, and Madeleine has passed me several times. Last time with two friends and all they did was Salute, Clap and a little dance. I'm sorry I forgot the names of the other 2. And I do think this is an even greater behaviour, as we can't communicate much with the enemy in game. Therefore it's also hard to tell Madeleine and others in game, that I highly respect them for there acting.

I have also experienced this at another place in the frontiers where I was sitting, resting and also on the phone, so I just watched the screen. 3 albs came by and starting wawing at me and such, and I was surprised and got a good feeling inside that some people had the decency and honor not to kill a single grey. Why? Because I would do the same. Mostly because I dont get any enjoyment of killing greys.

I also once tried the opposite. Was in Emain running from amg to atk after wall fight, and was running faster than a grey. I ran up along the poor fellar, and he chosed to stop, giving up. So I saluted him, and could almost feel his thankfullness as he bowed to me. So I turned round and he went to atk.

(this thread is also good if you got little..ehmm pissed after reading one of the many a-hole list-thingies)

i was going to suicide on tk when a green con realm mate, got killed behind me, so i went back and danced around knowing there was an infil near..

was a good fight, i had 3warden buffs thou, but i kinda thougt i was doomed, lucky i guess but fun

I'm horrible at remembering names so you'll just have to try and work out if i'm talkin about you.

/salute the skald i duelled (well was 1v1, spontaneous duel) after i lded and lost my grp as we were about to make a run past mtk a few days ago. Was a long fight especially considering i'm a mage and normally drop fast. Was a lot of runnin about waitin for my qc timer to reset etc. and in the end i had you at very low health half way through castin your death spell when you landed the killer blow. Nice fight.


/salute any hib healers who have healed me after an infi/sb has struck and applied lifebane. You don't know how annoying it is to drop dead in the middle of a grp of realmates from dot damage. Big thanks to you guys.

I salute Whambo for taking aggro from me yesterday when we went to lair and I was attacked by a drakulv.

Brave and unselfish he took aggro and screamed at me to run and get a healer, even though we were far from tree of death and I most likely would never be able to persuade one to come.

Yer a hero Whambo!
