That's a good point, Itchy. The two of us at least have broadband (I yield to your 2MB line, or whatever it is ;)) so we'll have to host our own and invite the BW Forum peeps. :)

#wij later this everning, anyone?

Still worth it for the single-player, and multiplayer isn't a dead loss, it's just there won't be very many servers and the ones there are will not be such good quality.

That said, Blueyonder are chucking a few up and BW hope to host a couple.

cant expect to many servers at the moment , only first day ,in a week or so more than enough servers will appear most people are probably still giving single player a go

Alright - a little hasty in my judgement, it's getting better. Just got to the Omaha level and have to say (in a most un-lady like manner), it's fucking mental.
Won't spoil for it anyone, but I need a spliff & a game of CS to chill out.

Still pissed with the fact that on the escape part of the last level, u clear a room, turn round to leave, and then some fucker ‘spawns’ from nowhere and shoots u in the back!

I'm a little disapointed, I found it very similar to the original medal of honour on the PS1. The Omaha level was fun, but was also let down by 2 things, 1. there weren't enough men on the beach, at first there did seem a fair few, but then you get to the bunker and there was like 4 people there including yourself, then you're on your own. It just didn't give the feeling of being surrounded by hundreds of men running to their deaths. 2. it was way too short, you only get to clear out one bunker, what about the rest of the trenches? Hopefully this WW2 mod for operation flashpoint if its still going ahead, will provide a better WW2 experience.

Just played in multiplayer - netcode seems fine, and the game itself rocks in multi :D

Is it a squady based thing? With AI loyal enough to walk into a death-trap, should it be my whim? Say yes and I shall consider juarezing it (sorry, I can't be bothered to be covert about it) say no and I shall just continue leeching other just-as-frowned-upon stuff.

There are squad based missions, but you cant order them around, they tend to put you "on point" all the time

So far ive only got to one level where you need to guarentee the safety of your squad, apart from the SAS bloke of course. The others, it dont matter if they live or die,

it just makes it harder if they die.;)

DoD and MoH are totally different in my opinion.

My team-mates are fuckwits and would rather run around than shoot the enemy. Also, the AI spawns out of thin air which pissed me off. The Omaha level was alright for the first 5 times but then it got really boring. I died over 100 times on it

Heh, I'm loving every single bit of it so far, both single and multi player sides.

I think the omaha beach level was a bit of an anti climax really, all the other levels leading up to it are just not good i just thought it seemed like another arcade driven fps again as with rtcw..

Although ohmaha beach did blow me away, the part where u clear the bunkers then look out of the 30mm cannon towers at all the soldiers running onto the beach that looks cool, apart from that i was rather dull and over too soon.

Maybe other levels will be better but i just cant be arsed to play it now as im getting quite bored of it. MP mode does r0x0r however

worth buying it just to play online :D
