From A - Z TOA is utterly ruining the game, removing all the middelearth climate and magic the game/world once had, its so sad

i know, not the only post and prolly not the last about TOA, but just had to make this post.

This has been said before, but since you've gone to all the trouble of making an brand spankin' new post i'll go the extra distance and repost it too.

If you hate TOA that much then quit the game, Simple as that. At these times you should remember that this is somthing you've chosen to do with your leisure time. If it no longer fills your critera for relaxation/fun then stop. Find somthing which does.

I thought this was DAoC not LoTR

Although Tolkein did steal all his best ideas from old european mythology......

I think he's more bothered about the impact that ToA has had on the background of the game (you know, King Arthur, knights, dragons etc). Then again that image of the game started fading away as soon as they started adding things like Darkness Falls and SI. Maybe we'll get the Mongol Invasion next \o/

TBH atlantis myths were around in europe in the mythical time in which the game was set.

Egyptions had trade links to Eire and the myths had permeated through europe through first of all greek/roman civilisation.

Although saying that we aren't talking historical battles anyway as the vikings were way after any of the potential time periods of arthur and when you do the timelines for the Irish myths they are set well before as well.
