Nice stuff... I can see the word "upgrade" waving around my screen dangerously.

Very pretty!
Notice in the interface shots it says 'You jump to location (73, 11545,10264,8727)'
Is that a new way of doing locs? Presumably that would be due to the 3 dimensional nature of the underwater areas.

I assume that's a GM function. If that's a GM playing of course...

But... current locations already have a y-axis coordinate anyway?

Well of course... but he is referring to the style of loc, the way it is shown.

The ToA site has an FAQ but it says there that the system requirements haven't been published yet. I'd imagine though that they're going to be at least a little harsher than SI was - 1.4Ghz processor, 256MB ram.

The people testing TOA said that if you can run SI you can run ToA. =)

I still like my personal "bloodspatter" interface :D

Gray stone, bloodsplatter across it and such.

Had fun with photoshop.

Only thing is that i have to c/p the shit every time i start since i'm a lazy funk and won't do the whole skip-update shiet. :p

EDIT: Also working on updating the sounds. A bit more work but ever wondered what a horse would sound like with a V10 engine rolling as the soundfile *grin*

I think the first number is the direction you look at, like in the current system. Loc number now doesnt include the zone, zone is there as text, not numbers.

I think the GM used jump command to be exactly at the same position each time he did that screenie.

Eliseth the Cold Wizard runs up to the mob and casts PBAE. Suddenly both turn into an ice cube and float to the surface.

Hmmmmmm, mostly just different if you ask me, I think the original trees suit Midgard better, the new one's don't look like the right type.

They really need to concentrate on the edge between objects and backgrounds, everything in DAOC looks 'plonked' on the background, it all looks too clean, with perfect edges, there is no bank erosion on any river, all the trees pop out of the ground,
with straight ,low polygon edges.
