Ouh yeah, so after a couple of hours of frustration and researching I ended up here to listen to all your experts' feedback on the ToA shadowblade template I am currently working on.

discard unnneeded resists and dex and get more hp/af/str/con

Hmm, I think the problem is all the +skill gems I have on my parts? They're really making it limited :( all I could skip was the +7dex gem..

Simply by skipping Belt of Sun and using Belt of Mischief, which gives me 4 points of Critical Strike free from my parts.

I'm by no means an expert - but your template looks fine tbh.

I've heard some people prioritize the resists like this:-
Body Slash Heat Thrust Crush 26%
Energy 20%
Cold Matter Spirit 14%

If I was really being anal, I'd say cap heat, and sacrifice a bit from either energy cold matter spirit. Cap the heat because you will come across quite a few stealthers who are dual wielding legendary heat weapons, and they hurt when they hit.

But tbh - I think most fights are won on who gets the first hit in or who gets the first stun in or who has purge up.

True, I regret over and over again that I made heat DD procs on all my fucking armorparts when I made my sz template. Gonna get AF and melee health buffers on this one!

Thanks for the input guys, might want to sacrifice a bit more energy points into capping heat as Illu said.
