ToA - How will it work?

I'm just wondering, will we be swiming around the depths of the ocean, or will we just sink to the bottom and walk around? Cause, that wouldn't be as fun as the swimming part.

And is there going to be a new graphic engine? I thought it would just be new graphics, no new engine

From the trailer('s) i'v seen we'll be swimming around and not just walking on the seafloor/seabed (what ever one is most right)

Trials of Atlantis will feature new terrain textures, trees, and water effects in all zones of the game

I doubt that we'll get a new engien, looks like we are just in for some new textures. Which is also fine by me I dont want to head out and get a new gfx card again soon


What im looking farward to is when they will tell us why there is only one Area where all the realm are in without them being able to see each other.
What's on Atlantis that makes the realms head there in a search for clues

Because lets face it atlantis is a little thin ice

Maybe it's a DF kinda thing? It would suck, but who knows. Or some spell that keeps you from hurting each other, or different parts or whatever But, those trials, I'm guessing they're not for lvl 25-ers ...

Nah, each realm has its own mirror image of Atlantis, thus each realm will never meet each other

Would be a bit sucky exploring a new area only to get templaed over by enemies

I believe that Mythic has full grip on their patches.

its a "new engine" in the same way SI was. its an upgrade of the one they bought for vanilla-daoc (netimmerse/gamebryo or smth).

im sure i heard on a toa video that there is a way to meet other realms, but it wont be like the df way..
