I started it with chocolate crepes and maple syrup then did all the house chores, got a bit down so pissed off on a long walk then went to the pub for beer and a burger (with my book so no one thought I was a saddo for being on my own new years day...), home, laundry, 10k cross trainer, bath

...had just settled down in new jimjams to watch primeval with cheese & crackers and Baileys (and the bed warming up nicely thx to electric blanket) when I get a text trying to summon me to the pub...no effing way, I had just achieved optimum cozy and nothing on the face of the earth could get me to leave the sofa, let alone HQ.

And at last I better, went down the pub with a couple mates and ended up seeing a fuck load of my old mates in there which was absolutely mint, stayed there for a good while and to celebrate the new year I hoisted the missus onto the pool table and prompty went at her to no avail (till we got back ;D) epic night!
