Sorry to burst your bubble but Shar is by far the worst ranger race, even elphs are better. Shar is just a carbon copy of dwarfs and how many dwarf hunters do you see out there? That's right, none, and they've been possible since forever.

It's no coincidence that the only mid class that has high number of dwarfs is the only class in the game with a gazillion different instaspells and no dmg dealing capability whatsoever.
