After the duels last night I have a completely new respect (read FEAR) for Champions. OMG... melee gods or something

I got owned so hard from every champ i duelled it wasnt even funny.

well, lost only couple nasty duels in which i missed/fumbled a lot, or got parried/blocked a lot.
Madeleine won couple of em cos i did missed/fumbled and she strafes to drop styles... (ahem) and did not give me another try when i remembered the /cancelstyle luv added and was hoping not to b so unlucky.
Lost 1 duel against a fully buffed armsman, still won 3 of 4
Lost 2 duels against a buffed zerker this morning, he won also against wuren so i guessed he was fecking buffed and dueled to death 3rd time, he was. (so pleasant to own a buffed zerker )

If i did fine at duels before patch, with many close fights, selfbuff just makes me won EVERY regular duel. /em happy

I beat Lofff in our first duel, fairly close though. I did kill him Blame it on a lack of experience in duels and the luck of a crit and proc on the final blow. If that hit hadnt landed Id probably have been dead on his next swing

Obviously he didnt like this too much, since a few mins later I was /beckon'd again.

And the second time he got the revenge he was looking for - I had 0 HPs left when he was still comfortably around 50%.

I went to Emain last night intending to stay 5 minutes. I stayed for 2 hours - I think that proves I enjoyed it Maybe next time Ill manage not to make an arse of the backup styles quite so often.

Thanks very much to everyone who came out on Gorre last night, it was a lot of fun and I had some great fights - wins, losses and draws. And of course, the usual "killed by a blue con alb while sitting resting after a close duel with a middie". There's always one...

Aye, it was grand, I respecced for aoe single target mezz and I lost every duel ... hehehe

But, another story, I had just dueled an infil and was sitting down resting up, when suddenly a bunch of ice monsters start twatting me. hehehehe

I think some alb fella came running through the AMG, saw all these people fighting, and thought OMF, and quickcasted me broken...

I duelled a 2 or 3 champs, yer they are tough, came close on one i think, i have to evade to stand a chance with 50 thrust. That was when i had a str//con buff from a cleric (simulating the buff i would get from my flute).

45 air absolutely rox, do 450 dmg on targets with no spirit resist, and the ice nuke is still reasonable even with only 14 + items + rr spec.

Wanna duel me tonight lofff, if i dont evade you will own me though

P.S.: 4 the god sake plz don´t play duels buffed but self buff, got killed by a SZ in 3 his (with 30% more slash resistance than be4) hitting 100 on offhand vs slash resistance armor = clearly buffed till eyeball!

Lol someone obviously dont know shit about the game, light dd nuke is 209 base dmg compared to mana dd wich is 179, with mom my dmg cap is 704 and with good druid buffs that i always have i hit most invaders for 500+. Only good thing mana elds got is insta aoe str/con debuff and that their dmg is energy, but it evens it up with that my dmg baseline is 30 more than theirs, and btw 1 hit on the tanks and the snare brakes.
