I don't blame you for leaving the Immortals Max - it does get really frustrating to see other guilds out in numbers when only 2 or 3 of us turn up. And these guild hunts I am trying to organise have had a very poor turnout so far. We have enough high levellers to be able to form a balanced group of 40+ - but yesterday we had to go outside the guild for a healer.

Yesterday's Dragon Hunt was a prime case - I was the only Immortal who went on it. Whilst I said I was not cancelling the guild hunt because of the Dragon Hunt, I do think more of our people could have turned up to the dragon one. None of the other eligible guild members were even online!

However, I do think the timing was a bit off - what with Levi only leaving the previous day and Stuartie a coupla days before that. It's making me feel like a failure in the GM role. I am trying my best to involve everyone, but its not easy when you don't get the support you were hoping for. Particularly when I am actually trying to put into place stuff we've only talked about in the past.

So I would just like to warn the remaining Immortals - please be more supportive and attend these things - the alliance hunt for one does tend to be very good xp. If I don't see any change in the next coupla weeks you may be looking for yet another GM!

Speaking as someone in a small guild, then it is very difficult to level in them.

When you look around and see all the big guilds running around and capturing keeps or going on big epic mob hunts then I do wonder if i'm missing out on anything.

Then I think of the benifits of being in a small guild, which are more on a personal level - chatting to people you know and not having any idiots in it.

I think that its inevitable that people will leave small guilds to join the big ones as they find the smaller guilds cannot support the things you need from the game at lvl45+.

That, I guess, is why the majority of Albions level 50 players are in a couple of guilds and not split over many guilds.

do alliance hunts :D

all i can say. AoV isnt a very big guild either, but together with DoA we can take down all the epics (ok, ok not the dragon, legion hasnt been tested yet) do keep raids etc. a while back we had the same problem, having the numbers to do epics on our own but not the good show-up. We've done a few good alliance raids and more ppl from our guild are starting to show-up. :)

good luck with the immortals, always a shame if a guild dies

stick at it Robyne it`ll pay of eventually will just take lots of hard work!
i started my guild not so long ago and it was very hard to start with only 2 of us at level 35+ but it`s paid off we`re now at 26 members all having loads of fun grouping together and going RvRing (hell we claimed our first ever keep on friday night

do what we did in my old guild and have a clear out basically ask each individual whether they want to be in the guild anymore and rally any support you can....once you have a core of 4 or 5 dedicated people rebuild from scratch

if people can`t be bothered being involved thats their problem

Im sorry hun

Firstly Rob this was not a spur of the moment thing, but something that has been building up over the last couple of weeks.
When we started Immortals it was to be a close knit guild, where everyone had a say in the way it was run, plus all of us used to go out hunting etc together.
It was never our intentions for it to be one of the big ones, but a close and family like unity, with basically the same peeps in the same group every day, which was exactly that from the time the guild was born.
I came close to quitting the game recently as the way i`ve enjoyed playing the game was slowly slipping away, when I log on the 1st thing I want to do is to group with my guildies and have some fun.
It was always my belief that we would roll onto 50 together but these days what few are online, are mostly playing alts.
Now im not trying to dictate to peeps the way they should play the game I would never do that,so rather than trying to change the guild to suit my needs,i`ve changed to a guild that suits my needs.
This is nothing personal Rob as you are doing a fine job in the way you are restructuring the guild and I hope you get the support you so richly deserve:)
But like I said earlier Rob it wasn`t just the incident yesterday that I left for,but that was the final nail in the coffin, watching my guildies disappearing over yonder horizon leaving me stranded and ungrouped, taking with them my dream that was once the Immortals,as 3 mids with almost sad film ending timing, began to kill me.
Anyway hun I wish you all the best in the future and I hope everything works out ok for you:)

Its always hard to keep a small guild going and ive seen many die and many made. Somtimes though, u need some new blood in the guild either looking to recruit more peeps or merge with a smaller guild thats had same problems and that both of you may prosper as one. Though merging is sometimes tricky its usually a good way to spur new life into a dieing guild.
