dont flame me if im wrong but i think its

chest 30%
sleeves 20%
legs 20%
gloves 10%
boots 10%
helm 10%

is it?, this would also explain why certain pieces cost more to buy.

Q: Could you please explain the percentages that each piece of armor is likely to be hit by a mob? Also, does the mob matter? For example, if the mob is a flying monster is it more likely to hit your head/arms/hands and by the same token, is a small mob like a spider or snake more likely to hit your boots/pants?

A: We opted to move a little bit away from realism with this formula, for the sake of our program’s sanity. So the type or size of the creature attacking you doesn’t matter, and the percentages are the same for man and beast: 40% Torso, 25% legs, 15% arms, 10% head, 5% hands, 5% feet.

Of course now some forum-troll will come along and say that grab-bag info is shit most of the time, but untill anyone comes up with some extensive testing that proves those numbers are wrong I'd say it's a safe bet to take these.

apparing to logfiles the forum trolls have to bugger of on this one, as my last parsed log pretty much showed what is said there in the FAQ

was more like 40%chest, 30%legs, 20%sleeves, 5%helm, 5%gloves/boots tho.

5% gloves/boots was meant to belike 5% for gloves and boots together, like 2.5% each.

regarding the statistical error i just put it like this, etc...

just to tell the random forum troll it's rather 90% than 80% hitting torso/sleeves/legs

My arms have never procced, so I recon chances of arms proccing are close to 0... That or my arms/galla dmg add tincture is buggy...

Well its only a 20% chance to hit the arms and then its only a 10% chance to proc that effect on that hit to that body part, so really its not a very good chance.

But when I changed templates recently I left my buff bot hitting me for a very long period of time to test the various effects and all body parts did proc but no where near as often as the torso which was fairly regular.
