As you can see by the Subject, this is another Malmo whine thread.

Well, to the point.
Arent there any other places to lvl at 40+???
Like so many other before me im sick and tired of the Drakulvs, Lair, List and the whole shit. I played 7 hours today for what?
3 lousy bubs of exp, ill tell ya!! So i get infected with Malmo Madness and ran straight at the dragon, never looking back, no i have decided ill never set fot in there again, unless it for a dragon raid. So what i basically want from this post is some tips and ideas on where i can get my last 7bubs to 50?, without setting foot in to the stinking ratshole again. So anyone of you out there who hitted 50 without Malmo, bring forth some tips.

Get to list and solo/duo whatever while waiting, thats what I did.

The fasted way to level is malmo.
Because you have a lot of mobs, and groups.
If you don't care in levelling fast, then you have spindel, df or raumarik.

I decided to go there when I was level 46. And then it didn't took me a long time to hit 50.

spindel if you can fix a little team and kill trows its also fair.

The swamp, find yourself some jotun's.

Raumarik the vally with the sliptnerson (sp?) horses, those bloody trees just inside raumarik.

And ten to one if you have SI there are some good places out there. One of the best places in hib that dosent involve the cursed "4fin I have list to stick upi your *bip* place" is in Fomor and Tur Suil two of the "epic dungeons.

Do all the 47+ quests...as well as your epics mate...they shud give u quite a few bubs.

problems is finding a nice grp but if you got a good grp going with healer shamie some casters and tanks go to si dungons.

Trollheim is nice with a baff from 3 most of the time

Trollheim but mainly SI quests. You can get alot from the 40+ quests at 49.

The tree house thing outside Hagall is cool as well.

Trollheim can be good but there is so much dodgy LOS issues in there its a fucking nightmare for seers/casters.

Vanern is nice, get some people and go to the Lake in malmo, DF, Raumarik, frontiers.

Some nice mobs near Notts/Odin's, Kalgarn will protect you (until 1.62 anyway hohoho :O)

Malmo isnt the only place in mid, use your brain instead of letting it run out of your ear waiting on the list.

Leveling to 50 is painful enough, but the attitudes at Malmo are just so bad... Sometimes you get lucky and get a decent group of people, but mostly it's bad. Example: I've had healers in the other group not willing to give me pom because they don't want me to pbaoe and get exp for my group. Which is silly, the faster we kill the mobs, the faster it will move for all. I just can't stand arguing about which group is exp faster anymore. Dunno what I will do for 50 :/

Some things will never change. The malmo melt pot is the place to get to learn about your nastier sides. Have someone sit besides you for a reality check since you need to be observant on when you start slipping.

The hard part with Vanern, Raumark was that it was hard to find likeminded to form regular groups. Almost everyone headed for malmo the mínute they hit 40. But if malmo is turning worse all the time, perhaps more people will start avoiding it, creating a larger base of players available for grouping.

Go to Spindellhalla and mass kill, kill, kill, kill Trows, MS etc etc...
and before you know it you hear the drums.

Or just go to Spindellhalla and make 1 bub a day with easy mobs
like Scavs or Rockcrabbs .. You will ding in a week and still have
your sanity left.

I leveled from 40->50 in malmo in 6 days.
I did have a vacation though, so set alarmclock each morning, and went to bed when malmo died.

And when you finally get a spot at fins it rocks
Level 43-49 in 1 weekend

People lost their mind in Malmo right from the start when they made that zone available....and now it´s even worse.

However, get a group going and there are several good places to hunt like mentioned above.

- There a a bunch of nice places for xp in the SI zone
- Raumarik have a few nice xp spots
- Vanern works pretty good aswell

Don´t loose your minds in Malmo! It´s just not worth it...

Well malmo is the fastest way i went from 42 till 50 in 4 days.
But you have to get up early in the morning and then say till 3/4 in the night

easiest way to get xp in malmohus is to get up early, and set aside social life for a while

or, play a valued class like seer

on a side note, if you can organise a group around lvl 50's PL'ing buff bots, alts, or friends, then you're in luck

I remember helping a couple of guys get a level a day in DF while PL'ing my buff bot at the same time

and the money is nice too, over 1 plat between me and my bot

I liked exping in DF more. No sodding lists, just group with nice people you know. Was way better exp than malmö for me.

am i the only one who enjoyed malmo?
waiting on the list was a bit of a pain but i got over that with various alts. but when i was in malmo i did enjoy it :> speshly when i got to g1 and pulled mobs. even had the list a few times which wasnt too bad imo
all IN MY OPINION tho so pls dont slate me for liking malmo :>

malmo was fun when you're trying to stay alive after a double pull, after being int he same group for 12 hours straight, and you're nerves are running low

well, my Thane was once MA, puller and peeler at once

bet not a lot of people can say they were that in amlmohus

sometimes its fun.. if you taking it relaxed, just chill out, don't get worked up over the xp, then everything is good.

but there's always someone who whines, makes it worse for everyone else....

and DF groups are still more fun, simply becasue fot he fact that you usually move about, rather than camp

DF or the SI Dungeons. Keep those bonuses up, move around lots. Tend to get a xp drop in malmo cos of not doing that sometimes.

Iarn Lair is uber xp. Did pretty much all of 43 to 50 in there.

Need to duo with shammy/healer at very least though cause every mob either dots or diseases (50 min plague) but the rewards are worth it. Getting 69 mill a mob at 49 for orange snakes is great xp (around a bub an hour).

ROG drops are pretty good aswell. Cadby's at entrance drop cloth. Snakes drop studded (loads) and bows. Kolvargs drop Chain and swords. Redcaps drop 2h weaps and jewellry. Really good salvage stuff with the occasional nice piece.

At 48/49 with healer/shammy you can get passed the Redcaps easily and start on skuggandes. Very rarely farmed so camp bonus is the best I have ever seen anywhere.
