To Fuzz or not to Fuzz..

Right, i have just formatted my PC and i installed DAoC, as soon as i got on i noticed my characture was very square (edges of things were square also) so a guild mate told me to turn on anti aliaising, so i did but that just made everything fuzzy! I have tried the drivers from before i formatted but the problem still occurs! if anyone could tell me how to fix this i would be very greatfull, as targetting a big blur from far away is quite hard
my spec is:
Athlon 1.4
768 DDR Ram
GeForce 3

Installed DirectX 8+?

With GeForce3, aren't the detonator 40.xx drivers more suitable?

Er what resolution you running the game at, has it reset to 800x600 ?
