Hey all

I was curious...what are the current pro/cons for speccin high env these days? Im thinkin all 3 assasins.

Personally my SB has 10 env atm :p cause i think it bites..only class it will be good on atm is slash infil, but they wipe the floor with me anyhow ;) i take it its still very viable for infil/ns since SB can only use pure str weaps..but what are the general thoughts :) ?

I still think Env is a must have.
On my SB I have 24 Env. That's enough to get you to 38 (second best str/con debuff) pretty easy with items and RR

Personally I think Env is that last thing to spend points on for an Infiltrator, with resists as they are I would much rather have frontloaded damage over utility. The debuffs etc are useful in 1v1 but the amount of times they get resisted and the hassle of applying them makes them a pain, when you consider the extra damage those Env points could give you if spent in another line it doesn't seem much of a choice to me personally.

I had enough env speced for 2nd best debuff on my SB, but respeced out of env to have more axe/la spec, but biggest mistake I did, I do so much less dmg overall with no DoT ticker and debuff knocking hp off :/ I'd say get 37env(with items) at least.

For an Inf/SB:
Removing ~150 str+con from opponents >>> anything else you have.

For a NS:
Removing ~250 str+con from opponents >>>>>>>>>>>>>> anything else you have.

I agree, all of them are very useful and well worth the spec points.

Doesnt wotk like that...
First you do damage and then the debuff lowering the opponents maximum hp, so the only damage you do to your opponent with your PA is the damage you do more than the debuff debuff. Did you get that? :)

Oki lets say like this.
Infil attack shammy.
Stats are following: Shammy have 1800 hp
Infil debuff will debuff for 400 hp.
The infil PA for 450 damage, this is what happen:

1800 hp minus 450 PA damage, shammy is now on 1350 hp.
Debuff kicks in and lower shammys max hp from 1800 to 1400 BUT he is still at 1350 hp.
So PA and debudd do not stack.

So if you have the last enervating it is almost equal to a sb PA :)

True, but your most dangerous foes is not the ones you hit PA on, its the ones you dont. The str debuff is sweet, especially vs slashers.

Aye that is why the debuff is the most important envenom to use.

Ns get access to wild arcana, and thus their debuffs can crit :) so env is mucho importante for them.
