Heyas folks,

I've been offered a P3 500Mhz, motherbord and case for a relativly inexpencive 600 guilders ['bout 200pounds].
Now I happen to have a 128 MB DIMM, V3-3k, cdrom and harddrive just sitting here on my desk that would prolly fit nicely in that box.

However I'm having second thoughts about if I should do it or no.

Anyone willing to advise?

Seems a bit expensive. U can get a celeron 667 with a decent board and a case for less, or an AMD 650 with motherboard for a similar price. Think about it. That P3500 ain't new, right?

I've just bought a cel667, that baby is running now @ 990mhz

yeah that's just it. I could indeed buy a medium powered pc [new] for close to that amount. especially if I can supplement it with the stuff I already have.

Yeah it's a bit expensive... Anyone be interested in some celeron 600's @ 1008MHz if I got some in to test for about 90 quid gteed for 1 yr?
